Hannah Barlow

Hannah is a political communications and campaigns specialist.

She has over a decade of experience creating and delivering on campaigns to improve legislation, build movements, raise public awareness, and galvanise funding on UK and global development issues.​

Before setting up her own advisory, Hannah was a Director at Portland Communications.

She is a former elected Councillor in Hammersmith and Fulham and served as elected President of King’s College Students’ Union.

Sinéad Paton

Sinead is a political communications specialist. 

Sinead was previously a Director at Freuds, where she led a series of campaigns for the Cabinet Office, including the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, alongside campaigns for Meta focused on online safety protocols for children and young adults. 

Alongside her work at BB, Sinead advises the British Red Cross on media relations, policy and causes.

Rishi Patel

Rishi is a public policy and strategic communications advisor with expertise in insight-driven campaigns for NGOs. 

He previously worked as an adviser to politicians, think tanks and private sector organisations on UK, EU and international politics and policy.

Rishi is a keen linguist and speaks four languages, including his mother tongue Gujarati.

Amanda Coakley

Amanda Coakley is an Associate Director at BB Partners, where she leads the Media Unit. She spent several years producing award-winning reporting across central and eastern Europe for outlets including TIME Magazine, Foreign Policy Magazine, and The Guardian. She is a columnist for World Politics Review and a Europe’s Futures Fellow at the Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna, Austria.

Julia Harris

Julia is a seasoned PR professional with over a decade of experience in impactful communications campaigns across a range of sectors – from global corporations to NGOs. 

She specialises in creative activations which drive mass cut-through, as well as global and national strategic media relations.

Julia is proudly based in Liverpool, in the North-West of England.

Ludo is a campaigns and communication specialist whose experience spans from media to public affairs. 

She has worked for high profile politicians, both on election campaigns and supporting their comms when in office. 

Ludo is a graduate of the Jo Cox women in leadership scheme.

Tommy is a specialist written and digital content producer. 

He has authored opinion pieces for global leaders, run social media accounts for leading NGOs and drafted internal communications assets for global organisations and politicians.

Tommy speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Prior to joining BB he worked for a British publication covering current events in Latin America.

Zoe is a political communications specialist, with expertise in campaigns, social action projects and lived experience participation.

She has worked across the charity sector on gender equality, refugee rights and economic justice for young women.

Charlotte is a public affairs specialist, having worked in both agency and the charity sector. 

She has a breadth of experience in building political communications, policy creation pathways, extensive desk research, writing political speeches and briefings, and organising political campaigning events.

Kabir Dave

Kabir is a strategic communications specialist with a background in global development and thematic expertise across gender, health and philanthropy.

Prior to joining BB he worked on grassroots development projects in contexts including rural north-western Peru, where he led a project analysing how renewable energy in hospitals could support women and girls. 

He holds an MA in International Development from the University of Sheffield.

Tom Pollard is an experienced political advisor who has held senior roles with both government Ministers and parliamentarians.
Starting his career in the grassroots international development sector, he went on to work in the Foreign Office and the Department for International Development, before becoming an advisor to several senior UK politicians, building extensive experience of legislative and political strategy.

Harry is a public affairs specialist with a background in UK politics. 

He has worked across the House of Commons, the House of Lords, the Labour Party and on national campaigns such as Our Future Our Choice and the People’s Vote Campaign.

Claire Hoffman

Claire has more than 20 years’ experience in strategic, creative and brand communications in health, human rights and development.  

Having worked for a range of NGOs including Save the Children and Malaria No More UK, she has extensive experience understanding political systems. This has included providing communications strategy and support for a range of departments within WHO, UNAIDS, UNFPA and UN Women. 

Claire has developed and led award winning campaigns including one attached to a global summit co-hosted with the UK Government that featured 15 Heads of States, 2 British Royal Princes, Bill Gates and global talent such as David Beckham which secured unprecedented political support from The Commonwealth and funding for malaria.

Rich Bell

Rich has led successful influencing drives and campaigns aimed both at amending legislation and raising issues such as community ownership and teacher professionalisation up the political agenda. 

He was previously a special advisor to the Chair of the British Medical Association and played a key role in coordinating the trade union’s political and media engagement throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lisa Perrin

Lisa is a highly skilled events specialist with over 20 years’ experience delivering high-profile national and international events. She has extensive experience in end-to-end event production, including concepts, strategic planning, creative design, production and direction.

Over the years she has worked with Heads of State, members of the Royal Family, politicians, royalty, businesses, high-profile celebrities and VIPs, delivering successful results at the very highest level.

Tim Allan

Tim Allan’s career has spanned politics, business and philanthropy.

After graduating from Cambridge, he worked for Tony Blair for 6 years, advising on policy and media relations in the run up to the 1997 election, and then working as Deputy Press Secretary in 10 Downing Street.

He then took up a position as Director of Communications at BskyB plc, helping to communicate the launch of digital TV to financial, regulatory and political audiences.

Following an MBA at Insead in 2000, he launched Portland, a communications agency specialising in reputation management for businesses, public bodies and high profile individuals. He built Portland into a £40 million turnover international agency, with 280 staff and offices across four continents. He sold the business to Omnicom Inc, with the sale completing at the end of 2019.

He stood down from Portland following the sale to pursue other interests and is currently exploring opportunities in politics and in public service as well as business.

He has served as Chair of the Young Foundation, has sat on Teach First’s Business Advisory Council, has supported the Jo Cox Foundation and gives frequent talks as part of the Speakers For Schools programme.

Sam is the Co-Founder of successful policy and communications firm Strand Partners. He provides senior counsel to clients on the media, politics and reputation. Prior to entering consultancy he worked at The Independent, FCO and was a Teach First participant.

Marisol is a British-Chilean digital communications specialist. 

Marisol’s career began in British newspapers including The Daily Telegraph and the Guardian. Marisol later entered the UK civil service and became the head of creative content and digital at the UK Department for International Development.

In the private sector, she has worked for NGOs, UN agencies, think tanks, and philanthropies.

Lis Wallace

Lis is the former UK Director for the ONE Campaign where she oversaw the campaigning organisations UK strategy and multi-functional team. 

Prior to ONE, Lis was the Advocacy Manager at Malaria No More and APPG Coordinator for Agriculture and Food Development. 

She was the recipient of PRCA In-house Public Affairs Professional of the Year in 2018. Alongside Lis’ work with BB she advises The Global Fund.
